 Vieques Airport is located approximately 1.1 miles from the Martineau Bay Resort & Spa, a 25-minute flight from the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a 12-minute flight from the Diego Jiménez Torres Airport in Fajardo.
In addition, there is a smaller airport, San Juan Isla Grande Airport, in the San Juan area. Vieques Air Link, Cape Air and M&N Aviation provide short-haul services from San Juan and Fajardo to Vieques.
There is also the possibility of renting a car. You can contact Martineau Car Rental, right across from the hotel.

** Cape Air has baggage agreements with most major air carriers which
will allow you to check your luggage all the way through to Vieques island.
However, you will need to re-claim your baggage on the return flight to San
Juan (SJU). Be sure to ask your ticket agent to check for baggage service
agreements with your airline.

No passport is required for American citizens to visit Vieques Island, but
foreign nationals should have valid passports and visas. For more
